DURING JUNE 2-4, 2000
FRIDAY EVENING MASS HOMILY – FATHER RAY BOURQUE We are living in a very special time; a moment in history when the Holy Father decided to share the third part of the secret of Fatima. The Vatican will come out with the third part of the Fatima secret. The message is that we are at war with atheists who do not like the Church and want to destroy us. Last century 38 million Christians were put to death. What is the message of Fatima? The first part of the secret was the vision of Hell that the children had. It was a vision of a sea of fire. In the fire were demons and souls in human form floating with flames in the souls of the humans. We are on the road to Heaven or to Hell. The second part of the secret was that God wished to establish devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the world. Our Lady asked for the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. Father Ray asked that we pray every day for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady told the children that, if the world does not change, the good will be martyred and the Holy Father would have much to suffer. In the third part of the secret, Our Lady said in the end Her Immaculate Heart would triumph, the Holy Father would consecrate Russia, and a period of peace would be granted the world. Some of these things have already happened. The world can be saved through devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Otherwise, the world would be condemned. The Holy Father has invited all bishops to Rome on October 13, 2000. A statue of Our Lady will be brought from Fatima to Rome. Father told us not to trust the newspapers concerning the release of the third part of the secret. He said to get the official text with commentary which will be released by the Vatican. The Sacred Congregation will tell us how to interpret the text. Take seriously the message of Fatima. People do not know about masonry. Masonry is a religion. Masons have a good way of hiding the truth. They are out to destroy the Church and Christians. Pray that we will do something about the vision of Hell and the conversion
of Russia.
SATURDAY MORNING MASS HOMILY – FATHER FRANCIS Today a big thing is happening, and it is appropriate that we have a Martyr's day to reflect upon. By Baptism, we are all a part of what the Church calls the common priesthood. Today Brother Anthony will be taken from the common priesthood and placed at the head as an ordained priest. He will become a priest, first and foremost, to preach the Word of God. But the presence of Jesus in the priest does not remove human weaknesses from him. A priest preaches the Word of God, but he can also forgive sin, confect the Eucharist and bring Calvary to us. Thousands can give us counsel and help, but only the priest can give us God. In a sense, we cannot live without the priest. We pray today that Brother Anthony will be a changed man, a different person, and that we have seen the last of the old Brother Anthony. We pray that he will be changed and that he will be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We pray that the Lord give him a particular charism. SATURDAY AFTERNOON TALK - DARRELL BENNETT The Holy Father's release of the Fatima message brings to a conclusion that period of time. We should focus in particular on the Fatima message, the consecration of the Church to Russia, our own consecration to her Immaculate Heart. All of this will bring us from this era into the era of the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart. The Blessed Mother asked the children of Fatima if they would accept sacrifices and they said YES. We too should accept hardships each day and unite them with the sufferings of Christ. We give our YES to God each and every day, not only once a day, but multiple times each day, especially when things are difficult or in times of temptation. Entrust everything to Our Lady. In the request of the rosary and the First Saturday devotion, we encourage all people to do the same for the triumph of souls and for peace in the world. We are reaching the pinnacle of that combat, thus renew that dedication. The bishops of the world are to be united in consecration of the third millennium to Mary. This will be the last of the consecrations this Holy Father will make. It is a great gift for us to journey to this Shrine for so many years. Hopefully, we will see the faithful in months to come embrace Our Lady's requests. It is a maternal plea of Our Lady for people to return to Her Son and His Church. People will come and walk on their knees for reparation and penance. FATHER RAY BOURQUE'S BIBLE STUDY Father spoke on the third message of the Fatima secret. Know the first two parts of the secret before you begin to study the third part, but take the third part seriously. He also talked about the vision of Hell Our Lady showed the children of Fatima. DEATH is the end. We live in time and God is in eternity. What is time? Time is the succession of seconds. God is not in time. In Heaven, there is no succession, there is eternal presence. All we have is the present moment. Live each second and live it well. In eternity, there is no beginning or end. In Purgatory, there is a beginning and an end. We and the angels have a beginning, and we have an eternity from the beginning. God chose us before the world began to be blameless, holy and full of love. Death is the end of our life with a body and soul. At death, the body and soul split. Death is the end of merit and de-merit. We cannot commit another sin or do something good after death. At death, there is a particular judgment; either you go to Heaven, Hell or you have to get cleaned up in Purgatory. Spiritual death is losing your relationship with God. If you die in mortal sin, your soul goes to hell. We believe in a future life after death. A human being is composed of a body and a soul. At death, there is decomposition. The body is mortal thus death is a natural consequence. Now is the time for mercy for us. Death is the time of justice. We are always on the way to our final destiny. We must be ready - death comes as a thief in the night. At death, your soul is frozen in its condition. If in Purgatory, praying for those souls cleanses them. Souls that die in mortal sin go to hell. We are a pilgrim people on the way to Heaven and have lost the way. At death, the soul will keep the knowledge acquired. What you know of God, you will keep. The soul will know God; it will know it depends on God. The soul will know itself, the people, the world, and events in their life. The choices we make in life cannot be changed at death. The particular judgment a person receives at death will never change. You are fixed at that moment. For the just, at death Heaven begins because you get cleaned up. A person goes to Hell because they want to. God does not want anyone to go to Hell. What is Hell? What is essential about Hell? God is not there - the absence of God and the pain of loss. People who have no time for God - no use for God - are practicing "hell". What is mortal sin? It is very bad sin, you do it on purpose, and you know it when you do it. It is a deliberate turning away from God. Mortal sin kills grace and love. It is an infinite offense against God. Hell is a state of being, it is not a place. In that condition, it is a state of exclusion from Heaven, privation of sanctifying grace, complete frustration, spiritual suicide, eternal death, absence of love, state of suffering, no alleviation, suffering in proportion to the gravity of sin, damnation, perpetual confinement, eternal fire. The fire of Hell and Purgatory are the same, but one does not end. Whatever happens at the end is because of what happened while we lived. Without God, there is no happiness, no hope, just despair. No friends in Hell; just suffering from demons in Hell. There are different levels in Hell. Our Holy Father says we should be more concerned about the state rather than the place. At the end of the world, there will be the General Judgment when everyone will see themselves as they are. SUNDAY MORNING MASS HOMILY - FATHER RAY BOURQUE Today is the Feast of the Ascension. St. Luke writes in the Acts of the Apostles that Jesus chose the apostles through the Holy Spirit. It is through the Holy Spirit that everything happens. Anything God does for people, it is out of love through the Holy Spirit of love: Jesus - Person -Word; Holy Spirit - Person - Love. God chose us to be holy, blameless and full of love. The apostles saw Jesus alive and they saw him dead. You were baptized with water and in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. You will have spiritual power and will be witnesses to the Lord Jesus Christ. Prepare yourself in the coming week to truthfully be the witness of Jesus Christ in this year - a time of waiting. How should we wait? Together with the mother of Jesus. Wait with Mary. Jesus will come back, but we do not know when. When He comes, you will be witnesses and will have power. How much power - go to the whole world and proclaim the Good News. We have the power to go to the whole world. When you hear about something in another part of the world, pray. You can use Jesus' name: to dispel demons, speak in different tongues, and to lay hands on the sick and pray over them. The people who believe have this power. God gives us the wisdom to know Him clearly. The power that God had to raise Jesus from the dead is in us. We do not know how much power we have. It is immeasurable. No one went to Heaven before Jesus opened the gates. Jesus descended to the place of the dead and took many souls with Him to Heaven. In exchange, He gave gifts to man at Pentecost. This week is a week of preparation to receive gifts in all kinds of services - apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, etc |
