INTRODUCTION

There are places in Holy Land that are clear, there is no doubt about them at all. This  is why I think that the places like Gethesemane, where we still see olive trees, Mount Moriah the place where Abraham offered the sacrifice and where Solomon built the temple; places like the Sea of Galilee where Jesus went with the Apostles; Mount of Beatitudes, where he overlooked the Lake of Galilee and the mountains besides. These places are very interesting. We also have spots like Gallicantu that certainly have a message; there is a lesson there. And if down the centuries because of persecution churches were built and destroyed and the ruins evacuated, if we are not sure exactly on what spot things happened, nevertheless there is something to learn.

It makes a big difference when you realize the kind of country that the Holy Land is, and the history that joes back thousands of years. It is not like walking someplace in the United States. When we think of how young our country is, we go in the Holy Land and see things that date back 2, 4, 6, 10 thousand years. and it is hard for us to understand.

This study is meant to allow you to make a personal pilgrimage to Holy Land and to visit the many places sanctified by Jesus. It also provides a number of very appropriate Scriptures for you tomake your pilgrimages both in the bibles and in the Holy Land.

To know Jesus is to love him.
A beloved disciple
