The Mass: Our Future Glory Now

Do you come to Mass expecting to meet God? Come with faith that Mass is the reenactment of Calvary's sacrifice for you, me and the world. Come with love for Him, our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life for love of you, me and the world. Come in the reality of what the Writer to Hebrews expresses today; we are coming to Mt. Zion the dwelling place of our Heavenly Father. We come through our Savior Jesus Christ, who makes the way possible and we are in the company of the Blessed Virgin Mary and of all the Saints and angels. Come believing in Him and loving Him and you will meet Him.

The problem for most of us is that we come to Mass more out of a sense of obligation than out of joy of meeting the Lord. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes of faith to behold the meaning of the Mass.

The closest we can be to Heaven is at Mass for at Mass Heaven and earth are joined together. The Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, united Heaven and earth. He was slain and now He lives forever. He is the mediator whose sacrifice on Calvary's Cross opens up Heaven's gate. He continually presents His sacrifices to our Heavenly Father and thus keeps the way open for us to enter the Kingdom of God and for Him to bring the Kingdom of God down to us on all the altars wherever Mass is offered.

Again, let us pray that we come and expect to meet God at Mass and pray that we may teach our children the wonders revealed in the Mass.
