Poor Souls

Poor Souls is a term used for those of us on earth as we still have this life to go before we face our final judgement.  We still are on this earth facing temptations, and fighting our path to God in heaven.  Because we are in the midst of this battle for our souls, we consider such as poor souls.

Holy Souls

Holy Souls is a term used to identify those souls in purgatory. They have lived this life and faced judgement.  There are still some purification they are required to undergo; however, once purified, they are guaranteed a place in heaven.  We consider these souls holy souls.
